Daddy had one of these he said :-D
Once upon a time, in the year two thousand and ten and on the twenty fourth day of the third month, a little girl was born at 12:31pm in Newcastle. She was named Eleanor Frances Jameson and all her family smiled. This is her tale...

Chinese buffet & Centre for Life!
Great day out at Centre for Life - we started with a Chinese buffet at Lau's 202 before heading down to Times Square to check out Game On 2.0 :- a fantastic journey through the history of video games, complete with over 150 playable video consoles! Great fun! Lots of the games were really old but they were the most fun ones I think!

Coffee & cake at Tynemouth market
We planned this earlier in the week and it was a lovely morning/afternoon at Tynemouth market with family! We met at 11 in the market and grabbed some food & drinks before setting about browsing the various stalls. I picked up a hand drawn Mickey Mouse framed picture while Daddy & Andrew Winter were after some vinyl records. Once we grew weary of the market we headed into Platform 2 for drinks and some board games. We settled on Scrabble where I took on Auntie Kirsty, although Uncle Mark and Daddy joined in to help! Great times!
Browsing all the things
You want macaroons? Fuhgedaboudit
Brass band on the Metro bridge
Wallop! Made light work of the giant hot dog!
Nina playing with Barbie
Kirsty staring down the lens
Great game of Scrabble in Platform 2 to round off the day!

Wallsend Park day trip
It's not often we spend time in Wallsend Park so it was nice that we got to go over there for the Wallsend Fair, and to meet Jen & Gary and also Christine! My friend Evie Elliott was staying over too so she was with us - the grown ups sat and drank coffee while Evie and I headed into the fair to have a go at the archery amongst other things.
Afterwards we went over to see Nanna Rhoda before heading over to see Grandad Paul over in Walkergate. Nice afternoon catching up with our Newcastle based family!

Grandad Keith here for the weekend!
We were all really excited for the visit of Grandad Keith who was driving all the way up from Hertfordshire to stay with us for the weekend! He arrived at lunch time on Saturday and after a quick coffee and a tour of the house, we had a quick game of Subbuteo! I was Newcastle and Grandad was Brazil! Daddy took over from Grandad when Caroline Facetimed us, and I hadn't realised but Daddy scored a late winner while I wasn't looking so it was 3-2 to Daddy/Grandad in the end. Haha.
A lovely surprise was that Mark & Nina popped round for a bit before they went out for lunch in Tynemouth. I haven't been feeling well this weekend so I stayed in the house. When they got back they watched the FA Cup final before we turned our attention to ordering a Chinese takeaway!
I showed Grandad some of my dance routines I've been working on; one a tap routine from Annie, and the other a more contemporary, modern interpretation to Blood in the Water by Grandson! I think they went down quite well! And later we watched Eurovision while we had our takeaway.
The next morning we headed down to Tynemouth - the weather was lovely and it was a fab day to head to the beach! We took a ball down so Daddy, Grandad and me could kick it around while we waited for Auntie Kirsty & Uncle Mark to arrive - we met up with Lori and Mummy and headed up to The View for some lunch: fab fish & chips!

Taking Buddy & Mick for a run out on the field
We decided to take the dogs out on a walk but rather than go round the block, I took them to the little field behind our house for a bit more of a run around. We dared to take them off their leads and they were really good boys; they didn't run away, instead choosing to have the time of their lives running around chasing sticks! Great fun on a lovely evening!
