Number games & scary masks

After the excitement of Lori's birthday party, we enjoyed a somewhat more serene Sunday at home. I played with the dominos (unwittingly improving my numeracy skills in the process), and Daddy and I played Snap! Later we popped to Sainsbury's, and I couldn't help but notice the Halloween stuff is back on the shelves. I tried on a mask that I thought looked a bit like Daddy when get gets up in the morning. Ha!

It's Lori's birthday!!!

Today is an extra special day as it's my big sister Lori's 11th birthday! She got lots of lovely presents in the morning and at noon her friends came round for an afternoon of Laser Quest in South Shields! I wasn't too keen on the Laser Quest thing so Daddy took me to the lovely amusement park next door to go on some amusements and we ate donuts. As we picked up the others to head back through the tunnel we learned cousin Jay Hughes was the king of the Laser Questers! Later we all went for something to eat at Sambuca's in Whitley Bay where Lori was presented with her yummy birthday cake! Fantastic day & happy birthday Lori! x

Painting daisies at school

We did some painting at school today so I turned out this rather vivid daisy which Daddy proceeded to hang on the wall. Quite pleased with that one. Settling in to my new school very well.

Busy Saturday!

We were up early this Saturday because Daddy was doing the Parkrun on the seafront in Whitley Bay and we were going to cheer him along. It was a beautiful morning and it was great when Daddy came running along the path! He was waving but I think he was really tired.

When we got home I made some awesome cakes! Then we went round to see Grandad and his new animals! Lori was saying hi to his new dragon whilst I was cuddling a chicken. Normal Saturday really.

We had a few minutes to spare before it was time to go to school so I had a little play time with Princess Anna from Frozen.

Scary, wicked witch!

Today I went a bit mad with the face paints and I became a wicked witch! I later enjoyed some pizza with Lori before relaxing with the iPad. Later we went to Nanna's for a BBQ with Uncle Andrew, Uncle Mark and Auntie Kirsty. Great day!

My first day at school went really well! I settled in straight away and even made a new best friend, Alice. She invited me to her birthday party next month too! Nanna picked me up from school and we went to see Auntie Kirsty before heading to Ora (a pub!) in Tynemouth for a well earned drink!

Starting big school today!!

Though it's sad the summer holiday are over, THE day of excitement is finally here! We're off to school!! Lori's starting Year 6 at middle school and I'm starting proper school for the first time! I'll be in reception class, and I can't wait. As you can see, we're all set and ready to go!
