New Year's Eve...

Today's been a day for movies - we watched Flash Gordon and Mary Poppins before settling in with a Gogglebox 2018 roundup episode.

Later Baby Lucy came round - we were looking after her for the night. Quiet night in for us I think!

Happy New Year!!

Nina's birthday party!

It was Nina's 4th birthday on Friday and today they had a get together for Nina's family at Uncle Mark's house! All of Nina's cousins were there which was pretty cool, while the adults stayed in the kitchen talking and eating. Great singing for when Uncle Mark brought out Nina's cake!

Happy birthday Nina!! x

Board games Friday

Daddy and I decided to play some board games this afternoon - we went for Connect 4 and Game of Life. Daddy thinks he won the most matches but he didn't really ha ha. Game of Life was definitely a draw too. I also tried on the lovely outfit Auntie Kirsty got me for Christmas! Absolutely love it!!

Boxing Day dinner at ours

We decided to have everyone over to ours for a Boxing Day dinner of spag bol & Christmas treats! As well as us four, we had: Nanna, Auntie Kirsty, Andrew Winter, Uncle Mark, Catherine, Nina, Auntie Jen, Uncle Gary, Jay, Amy, Jordan, Hope & Baby Lucy!

After food, Daddy, Uncle Mark and Andrew Da Winter watched Newcastle lose to Liverpool on the TV while everyone else chillaxed and chatted. We FaceTimed Uncle Andrew and Auntie Suzie on Kirsty's iPad for a bit which was awesome!

We didn't get a chance to take a pic of everyone together, though Kirsty was wondering who that lizard was in the kitchen. Haha.

Christmas Day Night at Auntie Jen's

We arrived at Auntie Jen's as they were all chillaxing after a similarly busy but great Christmas Day! We settled down in the conservatory to play Mr & Mrs - a great game where to people had to sit back to back and answer questions about each other. Daddy said there used to be a similar quiz show on TV back in the day. Back when TVs were big, heavy boxes, there was only 4 channels, and you had to get up out of your chair to switch over? Yeah, whatever Dad, haha.

It's a great game though - I think Amy & Jay won, whilst Mummy & Daddy came last haha.

Christmas Dinner at Nanna's!

We arrived at Nanna's, laden with presents & food, and looking forward to Christmas dinner! Uncle Mark, Catherine and Nina were already there with Nanna and Auntie Kirsty (we were running a touch late). The Christmas dinner that Nanna served up was sensational! Afterwards we helped clean up before settling down to exchange presents, and chillax in the living room to play games. I particularly loved Nina's reactions when she was opening her presents! The look of wonderment on that little face :-D There was just time for one last game of Connect 4 before it was time to pack up and head to Jen's. Great day & a great Christmas! x

The table is set - the calm before the storm :-)

Delicious cake sent to Nanna by Uncle Graham in Hastings!

He's been!!!

After an exciting Christmas Eve at Alnwick Gardens, and watching Home Alone, Lori and I had our usual Christmas Eve sleep over. We stayed up a little later than normal to make ourselves tired and we were out like a light! I kept waking up but Lori made sure we got up at a sensible time - 6am is sensible, right? So we went upstairs to wake mummy & daddy and then went to see if Santa had been... We opened the living room door and we were delighted to see he had! We were both delighted with the presents Santa had left us, and we all had a lovely Christmas morning!

Lori got some new pyjamas, headphones, art supplies and a big card with money stuck in it in the shape of a Christmas tree! I got lots of great stuff including lots of new ear rings, lots of hair and make up stuff, a great ET doll, Spirograph, new fluffy bedding and art stuff! And of course Buddy!

Mickey & Buddy also had a lovely time playing in all the paper!!

Around noon grandad popped round to see us and then we were getting ready to head out to Nanna's.

Merry Christmas everyone! xx
