Riding fast down to the seafront!

We went for a lovely [5 mile] bike ride today down to Whitley Bay seafront and parked up for a Chinese lunch by the sea. It was a long way but exciting to take our bikes down to the seaside!

Doing my Frozen sticker album

Daddy brought me some Panini Frozen stickers and started to show me how to stick them in the right places, just like he did with his football stickers during the summer.  Once we've opened a packet we check the numbers, find the numbers in the book, then peel & stick! It's great fun but frustrating that I'm starting to get more swaps than I care for. Anyone else collecting the Frozen stickers?

The best bit is opening a new packet though! So exciting!

Chocolate fondue!

After tea tonight daddy prepared a little surprise for Lori and me; a chocolate fondue with marshmallows and strawberries! Mmmm!

Isla's birthday party & sleeping at nanna's!

Today was happy and sad really. I was a bit sad that mummy and Lori had to go out in the car, and wouldn't be back until tomorrow, but I was happy that today not only was I sleeping over at nanna's but also it was Isla's birthday party! She's one of my friends from school.

The party was great; we danced, played party games and had some lovely party food, and throughout we were entertained by a really funny man with his talking puppets! Great day & I hope my friend Isla had a great time!

After the party we headed to nanna's where we had some tea before settling down to watch a couple of films, including Toy Story 3 which nanna hadn't seen before. Later I started to get tired so I curled up in Auntie Kirsty's old bed and fell fast asleep but not before I held my own little puppet show with nanna's crocodile!

In the morning we noticed it had snowed over night and of course I was asked if it was anything to do with my magic Frozen powers... You'll just have to wonder ;-)

New Frozen tissues!

When mummy returned from the shops I was delighted to see she'd brought me my own packet of Frozen tissues! I have a runny nose at the moment but I think I'll save these and ask daddy to get me a tissue from the bathroom if I need one!

Out on our new bikes!

We were having a nice quiet Sunday afternoon so Lori and decided to go out on our new bikes. It was Lori's first time out on her new bike and no sooner had we left the house we were both off and peddling away! We headed down our street and then in to the small park behind the houses where we could ride around away from the traffic before we headed back home. Lori was a bit nervous as she hadn't been out on a bike for over three years but she needn't have been. She was amazing. So proud of my big sis! Looking forward to more bike rides in the future as the weather improves!

Frozen singalong party!

Today was a special day and what better way to kick off 2015 than to go to a Frozen singalong party in the attic at Seven Stories! Everyone was dressed up like the characters from the film, and even the real Anna & Elsa were there to watch it with us, and sing along with us to all the songs from the film! I sat with Elsa for most of the film, telling her all about my Frozen dolls! Great day!
