Christmas Eve!!

Daddy and I headed down to the sea front for a walk and immediately both realised we were hungry! So we headed straight for the chippie! There was a beautiful rainbow over the sea - just the thing Santa needs to find his way to Whitley Bay!

Old posts on the beach

We headed down to Whitley Bay beach to see Nanna - I didn't know we had these old posts on the beach. Apparently part of a design to hold the beach together, but not really necessary for Whitley Bay these days it seems. Anyway, they are fun to jump on but don't let too much of the tide rush past you haha!

Chips on the beach with Lori

Nice afternoon to walk along the beach with the dogs before enjoying some fish & chips. Also nice to see Lori while we were here :-)

Beach with Nanna!

Some funny old scenes on the beach today - the tide was really funny meaning we could venture down the beach and still see some sea behind us! It was also really misty which made it really atmospheric.

Later we checked in on Auntie Kirsty (wasn't in) so went to Northumberland Park where I tried knocking on another, slightly smaller door...

A rare trip to the beach for Slinky

Not often the Slinky man gets to go to the beach but as he's getting bigger we thought we'd take him down. He wouldn't stop barking! I think he was so excited to see the seaside, other people and especially other dogs! The sea was really choppy as well which was exciting!

Lori's happy birthday!

Happy birthday Bazza! Slightly more unusual one this year but Lori was happy to sit in the park opening her presents!
