Lovely family Sunday in Tynemouth

Uncle Andrew was in town (sadly minus Suzie) :-( and after last night's curry we thought we'd meet up in Tynemouth for a spot of lunch to see Andrew before he headed home.

We headed over to nanna's for a quick cuppa before popping over to see Auntie Kirsty's new flat! It was really nice! Lovely and big, and Kirsty & Andrew have done a great job with painting and furnishings! We had a good look around whilst Daddy & Uncle Andrew played guitar before heading down to Front Street for lunch.

We settled on Allards on Front Street and we had a lovely mixed tapas lunch before we sadly had to say bye to Andrew. He had to go back to Manchester but hopefully we'll see him again really soon!

First day at Stage School & dinner with Grandad Keith & Caroline!

I was especially excited today! Not only was it Saturday but Grandad Keith & Caroline were here, AND it was my first day at the Stage School that Lori goes to! I had a great time and I am really glad I joined! Later we went out for dinner into Tynemouth to meet Grandad Keith, Caroline, Kirsty, Andrew, and Mark, Catherine & Nina. We went to Longsands Fish Bar to enjoy some lovely fish, and we all had a cracking night!

Writing stories

I love writing, I love stories and I LOVE Goldilocks &the Three Bears! From memory, I wrote out the first part of the story just because I like to write out stories. What do you think?

Special day out with mummy!

We started the day helping Uncle Mark move house however mummy and I had to leave so we could take Lori to Stage School. Later we went for some lunch before enjoying some of the posh fish & Blue Reef aquarium! It was all too much by the end of the day though and as I cuddled Jessie from Toy Story I fell asleep! Love weekends!

To the soft play with Evie, and a sleep-over at Nanna's!

Really looking forward to my sleep-over at Nanna's tonight! During the day we had a bit of a lazy day so we decided to think of something to do for the afternoon. Daddy was watching the football and Lori was at drama class so I wondered what my best friend Evie Elliott was up to. So, mummy contacted her mummy and we went to the soft play!

When we got back I was whisked straight round to Nanna's for tea & sleep-over! We had a lovely time - we watched Toy Story 3 and Nanna made me some chips. I did my make up whilst we were waiting for tea to be ready, and later Nanna made sure I was tucked in nice & snuggly with Kermit!

Great weekend!

The List of Loveliness

Daddy's off this week so he picked me up from school today! I even got a sticker today - looks like I made the"list of loveliness"! Mummy wasn't home yet so I waited for a while at the front window until she came back. After tea mummy went to her running club so daddy & I played with the Shopkins & Playdoh!

Last day of the holidays

Happy New Year to you all! Lori and I have an extra day off today before we go back to school so we decided to make some Peppa Pig biscuits! Daddy found the baking set in the cupboard so we wasted no time in mixing everything together and rolling out the dough. Next we needed to cut out six biscuit shapes before Lori go to work making the icing, and daddy put the oven on. Once the biscuits were cooked we set about decorating them with icing and the little edible Peppa & George labels. An excellent job I'm sure you'll agree!

Happy New Year: Welcome 2016!

We welcomed 2016 with a quick trip into Monkseaton to see the New Year's Day Morris Dancers outside The Ship on Front Street! Jay and Amy were with us for the day and right from the moment we saw the dancers as they approached from the adjacent street, we thought they were fabulous, all dressed in their fineries, and we had a great time watching them dance around and bang their sticks! Shortly after a dragon came around the crowd and I was pleased to be able to pop a pound coin into its mouth as requested!

Soon thoughts turned to lunch plans and after our initial attempt to find a free table at the Monkseaton Arms was thwarted by likeminded revellers we made the long walk back up the hill towards home to our local pub for a slap up New Year's Day lunch! I had a cheese burger & chips, as did Jay and Amy!

Afterwards we made the short journey home to relax and play some games. Mummy & Daddy relaxed on the sofa watching the Sound of Music whilst Jay was happy playing Minecraft on his laptop.

All in all, a lovely New Year's Day with my lovely cousins! All the best! x
