Lori's post-birthday celebrations at grandad's

As if all the celebrations of Lori's birthday weren't enough, we were invited round to grandad's for another birthday celebration! He got Lori a cake and we had a lovely time. I could get quite used to celebrating birthdays for more than just one day. Hmm...

Lori's Happy Birthday - Part 2!

The day after Lori's Happy Birthday we met up with her friends to go for food at Sambuca's in Whitley Bay. They'd all been to Laser Quest earlier but I was too young to go sadly. We had some pizza and ice cream and Lori had to go on the podium whilst the whole restaurant sang "Happy Birthday" to her. She was quite red faced after that! Great day & a great birthday for my favourite big sister! x

Lori's Happy Birthday!

Lori is 10 today! We had a lovely evening out in Newcastle and we went to a sushi restaurant called "Yo! Sushi". The food was on small colour-coded plates and, covered with transparent plastic domes, the dishes paraded around the inner cooking area on a conveyor belt waiting to be rescued by a hungry, eager diner. The food's great too!

Afterwards, mummy took Lori shopping whilst Daddy and I went home. I was getting pretty tired after all that fine, fun dining! But, there was still time for Lori to blow out the candles so we could enjoy some delicious birthday cake!

Painting the shed with mummy!

As part of the patio cleanup, mummy was giving the shed a coat of green paint, and I helped!

First day at my new nursery!

I've started my new nursery which is at the same school that my mummy works at! Here I am after coming into mummy's class after nursery finished! They really looked after me; they read stories to me and helped me write my name. Here, I've just written my name on the sheet in front of me.

Brought home painting from nursery!

Today in nursery, one of my important jobs was to do some painting. I decided on an abstract, local cityscape; you can see the Angel of the North at the top of the picture, looking down over the rest of Gateshead. A moving piece I feel, and one which evokes a feeling of harmony, seldom experienced in the North East.

My name is Eleanor Caine

I borrowed Daddy's glasses for a minute to see what they were like. I feel like I'm suddenly starring in a 1970s British gangster film...
