Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! Hot on the heels of birthday celebrations, it was Easter Sunday! Jay and Amy came over, later Paige arrived, and also Hope with baby Lucy! The Easter Bunny had clearly been, and she laid out some clues around the house. We had great fun solving the clues to find some small eggs which led to the final location and a couple of bigger eggs for each of us! Great fun, even baby Lucy got involved! Thanks Easter Bunny! xx

Mummy's Happy Birthday!!

We were so excited this morning to celebrate Mummy's 36th birthday! She didn't think we had got her many presents so she was delighted to see the little pile this morning! She loved all her presents and cards, and the scrumptious birthday cake Nanna brought round! She felt it was the best birthday she's ever had! :-) Happy birthday mamma! xx

Birthday tea at Grandad Paul's!

The birthday excitement continued today at Grandad Paul's with a birthday tea! We picked up Nanna Rhoda and made our way over. Christine, Madeline and Joe were there + Auntie Jen, Amy and Jay too - not forgetting Dougle! We had some food and everyone sang Happy Birthday as I blew the candles out! Great fun & thanks to everyone for making this a really special birthday!

Today I am 8!!

I'd been looking forward to this for soooo long! Today is my birthday!! and I'm 8 years old! We were up super early as I was keen to see what lovely birthday presents there were for me! I wasn't disappointed as there were some great things for me - amongst them, make ups, roller skates, magnetic sand, slime making stuff, and lots and lots of squishies!

Later in the morning Nanna arrived with Dot, Uncle Mark came round with Nina, and Auntie Kirsty & Andrew da Winter came round. They brought lots of lovely presents for me including some lovely clothes from Dot & Auntie Kirsty, some Converse trainers from Nanna, and glitter pens from Uncle Mark. I felt really lucky!!

In the afternoon it was time for my birthday party at Wet & Wild! I was able to invite Jay & Amy + 5 friends from school and we had a great time going down all the slides with Mummy and Auntie Jen! My friends also got me some great presents! What a day!!

The day ended with Lilly & I having a sleep over, after some Chinese noodles for tea!

Got my 25m swimming badge!

Really pleased to have got my 25 metres swimming badge today! And a certificate!

My new bedroom!

We finally decided that my bedroom was too small so Mummy and Daddy set about swapping our things round. I was to move in to the play room downstairs! It was really exciting, and although there was a lot of work involved, it wasn't long before I was able to relax in my new space! Excited to be able to have friends round to play, and to have all my toys in my bedroom.

Happy Mothers' Day!

Happy Mothers' Day! We got up nice and early to get everything ready for Mummy, and she really loved the presents we had for her! We got her some flowers, Lori got her some bath stuff from Lush, and I made her a "Feeling Down Jar". That's so that if she's ever feeling sad she can take a card from the jar and read something nice about herself to make her smile.

Later we went to Earsdon to take Nanna for a meal for Mother's Day - Uncle Mark, Catherine and Nina were there, along with Auntie Kirsty, Andrew and, of course, Nanna!
