On the trail of the Great North Snowdogs!

It was funny, we'd seen lots of these Snowdogs around the area in various places but previously we didn't really understand why they were there. That changed when we realised people were 'collecting' the Snowdogs and logging each number in an app you can download!

The Great North Snowdog trail is an interactive public art trail where 61 differently themed Snowdogs are positioned in locations all over Tyneside for people to find & 'collect', and all in aid of St Oswald's Children's Hospice. You can track the Snowdogs you've seen in an app, and there's a handy map showing you roughly where they all are.

Daddy downloaded the app and we checked out the nearest Snowdogs, just to get started. We headed straight for the Bluereef Aquarium, and then over to Tynemouth Park for the first two before hitting Northumberland Park for #3. This is where we stopped for a cup of tea and some chips! Then on to the fish quay for 4 & 5, and finally Royal Quays for 6 & 7.

Here are the pictures of the first 7 Snowdogs we collected!
