Doing my jigsaw at nanna's

We popped in to Nanna's briefly so Daddy could fix the printer so I made myself useful and completed this Disney jigsaw (almost) all by myself!

Baking cakes on a quiet, rainy Saturday

Last week mummy went to London with work for a few days which made me a bit sad, but she's back now and to celebrate we decided to bake some cakes! Lori was at drama class so mummy and I retrieved the box of cake making stuff and got to it. Once it was ready we decided to decorate the cake with all manner of sprinkles, fondant bits, and candles. I decided it would be good practise for when it's Lori's birthday. Lori was delighted when she got home but she didn't say what she wished for as she blew out the candles. A nicer cake knowing her; she's very fussy sometimes. Mind, it's my birthday first so maybe its Lori who should be the one auditioning for Great British Bake Off!

Here I am, pictured with the (almost) finished cake that I made. It was delish!

Sea life!

Well for a Sunday, today was just grand. Nanna and Uncle Andrew dropped by and we had some lovely Sunday dinner. Daddy even extended the dining room table to accommodate us all! We didn't have enough chairs, but we managed.

Afterwards we headed down to the coast. The sea was really rough and there were people surfing in the sea! Mad. After parking the car we headed to the Blue Reef Aquarium in Tynemouth to see some fishes! I hadn't been there since I was a baby so it was all quite fresh for me!

As we entered we encountered lots of different types of fish, of all colours and sizes, and some quite scary! I thought the turtles were lovely and we even saw Nemo and his friends! Then before heading home we went to the outside bit to watch the seals being fed. They did lots of tricks like waving at us as they leapt out of the water, their reward being a piece of fish thrown to them by the people who work there. We got splashed a few times by the seals are so cute we didn't mind!

We had a fantastic time and on the way out we even saw some sharks. Eeeee...

Gonna make you an offer you can't refuse

A quiet Tuesday evening it was. We'd had our tea and whilst Lori played upstairs, Daddy and I were having a bit of fun with the orange segments. It's so easy to scare daddy when I do my best "Marlon Brando in The Godfather" impression.

Cleaning Day!

As we all settled in to the new year, Mummy and Daddy decided that we all need to pitch in to clean the house more. So, for ever more*, Thursday round ours is cleaning day! The others are such mucky pups that I insisted I give the kitchen a special once over. You could have eaten your dinner off that floor once I'd finished!

* or until we get sick of it
