Well folks, it's the last day of 2013 and I have to say it's been an eventful one. I made a snowman, visit art galleries, became 3 years old, learned to ride my new bike, out-witted the Easter Bunny, shook hands with robots, wrote & sang songs, talked to dinosaurs, took the train to Scotland, learned how to write my name, painted pictures & painted the shed, finished one nursery and started a new one, washed cars, made a scarecrow, fed the ducks, made a winter wonderland, learned how to dance like a princess, celebrated Lori's 10th birthday, watched thunderstorms & fireworks, danced the night away at Auntie Jen's wedding, and to top it all off I met Santa Claus!
I hope we can fit in as much fun stuff next year!
Tonight we celebrated a quiet New Year's eve at home; we had party food, played Guess Who and Operation, and watched a film: The Nightmare Before Christmas. It was a bit scary but I like Jack Skellington! A lovely night in all, topped off by the spectacular firework display on TV as the clocks turned midnight. Yes, I stayed up, just... Naughty old me!
Bonne année x
Once upon a time, in the year two thousand and ten and on the twenty fourth day of the third month, a little girl was born at 12:31pm in Newcastle. She was named Eleanor Frances Jameson and all her family smiled. This is her tale...

Thank you Santa x
Santa Claus left us lots of lovely presents so to say thank you I made him this picture, and wrote him a card. I left them by the fireplace for Santa to collect; Daddy said he'd text Santa to let him know to pick them up next time he was passing. It's an abstract, monochrome, depiction of him and his reindeer delivering presents to all the girls and boys, in poster paint! I hope he likes it!

He's been!!
Daddy told us that Santa Claus wouldn't visit our house if we didn't go to bed so Lori and I were in our pyjamas and up to bed nice and early! We were almost too excited to sleep and we actually slept in a bit this year, waking up around 8:30am. Mummy and Daddy went downstairs with us and to our delight we realised Santa had been to our house, and left us lots of lovely presents!
Santa brought Lori some earrings, a chocolate fountain, a new bag, some clothes AND her own iPad mini which she was over the moon with! He brought me a Buzz Lightyear action figure, Fireman Sam helmet, a Doc McStuffins doctor outfit, a Brave costume and lots of lovely toys from Toy Story, Mickey & Minnie, Hello Kitty and my other favourite films and TV programmes! We were really lucky for Santa to be so kind to us but we have been good girls!
As if that wasn't enough excitement, later in the morning who should knock at the door but SANTA CLAUS!! He said he'd forgotten to deliver some of our presents and he thought he'd pop back to drop them in! We couldn't believe it!!
Uncle Jordan came over to see us and in the afternoon we went to nanna's for a LOVELY Christmas dinner (thanks nanna! x), to see Uncles Andrew & Mark, and Auntie Kirsty and to watch a bit of Christmas telly!
What a smashing day it's been and already we can't wait for next year! Here's some festive photographs from the big day to enjoy. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas too! x

Getting ready for Santa coming!
We're about to get our Christmas pyjamas on and go to bed but first we had to get some treats prepared for Santa & the reindeers! A mince pie and glass of brandy for Santa, and a carrot for the reindeer. Merry Christmas everyone! Only one more sleep! x

Quick trip to town with Daddy!
Daddy and I went out in the car to get some final presents and we drove to Newcastle! We went to get some noodles and then walked through Eldon Square. I don't think Daddy could find what he was looking for but I ended up buying a little something nice for Lori and mummy so wasn't a completed wasted trip! On the way home I fell asleep. Thoroughly shopped out!
Definitely enjoying these noodles!
The bear & the hare from the John Lewis Christmas advert!

Trip to see Alice and the doggies!
Today we went up to Newton by the Sea to have lunch with Alice, her mummy and the doggies! We had a great time; the Joiners Arms, the place was called. I had some onion rings and did lots of colouring in. Auntie Alice got me a building set for Christmas which was ace! On the way home, daddy was pleased because the Newcastle match was on the radio, and they were winning. When we got home we watched Elf. From now on I've decided to change my name to Eleanor Frances Christmassy. Hope that's okay with everyone.

Looking for Santa at Tesco
Before going to nursery we stopped off at Tesco's to see the big chimney. Nanna says Santa sometimes stays here if he needs a rest. I knocked on the little elf door and looked through the little hole in the side but couldn't see Santa. I heard some Christmas music so I think he was definitely there. Probably just having a rest.

Making my penguins for nursery - stage 1
Tonight we starting making the papier mĂ¢chĂ© (that's French for "chewed paper" don't you know?) penguins for the Winter scene I have to put together for nursery. It's a messy old job but got to do my homework! Luckily, Lori stepped in to help too! In stage 1, we wrapped the wet, gluey newspaper over the balloons and left them to dry.

Family lunch time!
We went down to the Fish Quay in North Shields today to meet up with Grandad Keith, Caroline, Uncle Mark, Auntie Kirsty and Auntie Claire. We went to a nice restaurant called the Staith House and had some lovely fish & chips! We had a great time and the food was lovely!

My Christmas show at nursery!
Today was my Christmas show at nursery and I was excited for mummy and daddy to be coming along to watch. I got a bit shy during the show unfortunately but it was still fun to be a sparkly snowflake!
