New Year's Eve!

Today is New Year's Eve. Not sure what it all means but people seem to get all excited about it anyway. I've noticed some new calendars around the place so maybe it's to do with that.

Earlier we went to the cinema to see Tinkerbell & the Secret of the Wings. I think Daddy was expecting Paul McCartney to be involved somewhere along the line - he was close, a chap called Jesse McCartney did one of the voices, but I digress. We got some nachos and sweeties for the film and we arrived just in time for it beginning. I really enjoyed the film and stared in amazement from the first moment to the last at the majesty of Tinkerbell and all her fairy pals, and their desires to visit the forbidden Winterland in search of new friends & new adventures.

When we got home Nanna, Uncle Andrew and Auntie Louise came to visit and although I was asleep, I soon woke up to say hi and get a cuddle. They brought Lori and I some more lovely presents; for Lori a bead making kit, and a Peppa Pig drawing set for me! It was a shame we couldn't see more of them as Lori and I love Uncle Andrew & Auntie Louise.

Later we went over to Auntie Emma's Dad's house for a party. Lori and I had lots of fun playing with Jasmine and Harry whilst the adults were doing boring things like talking and drinking yakky wine. Later it got really noisy. Everyone started counting numbers backwards and then they cheered and gave each other cuddles. Very strange, and I was glad to get to bed for some peace but not before Lori and I had a cheeky sip of champagne!

Happy 2013 everyone! x

Christmas dinner at Nanna's

We headed over to Nanna's in the afternoon for Christmas dinner and we couldn't believe it as there were more presents for us! We had a great time; we watched the Queen's speech and had some lovely food. Nanna, Uncle Mark and Auntie Kirsty had got Lori and I lots more lovely presents! What a great day!

Santa's here again!

Lori and I couldn't believe our eyes when not only did Nana Roda and Madeleine come round to see us but also Santa Claus arrived with some presents he'd forgotten to leave behind!

He's been!! He's been!!

It's Christmas!! Lori and I were up at 6am to see if Santa had been and as we burst into the living room our stockings were full, and there were two lovely piles of presents for Lori and I!! Not only that but we checked the mince pie & carrots and they had definitely been nibbled!

We both got lots of lovely presents from Santa; Lori got lots of things for doing her nails, as well as a Mr Frosty machine and a whiteboard for drawing on! I was so excited to get lots of Mickey & Minnie Mouse toys, including a lovely Mickey Mouse blankie, and lots of Peppa Pig and Hello Kitty toys! Santa has been very good to us!

Merry Crimbles! x

Off to bed for Santa - hope I can sleep!

Here I am climbing the stairs to go to bed on Christmas eve. Santa knows if you're asleep so Lori and I are going to be fast asleep by the time Santa comes. We've put out a mince pie and a drink for Santa, and some carrots for his reindeer. A cunning plan; if the treats we've laid out have been consumed we'll know he's really been! We've both been really good this year so we're quite confident that we'll be on Santa's "nice" list...

Last bit of Christmas shopping

I went to Sainsbury's with Daddy today for some last bits of Christmas shopping. Daddy seemed to be buying lots of booze but I didn't say anything because he also bought a snowman treat for me and a ginger man breads for Lori. I was very busy and there seemed to be lots of people looking stressed but we were smiling. I also saw someone wearing a Santa costume. Even I knew it wasn't the REAL Santa; he was too skinny and Santa doesn't stack shelves in Sainsbury's...

Got my list of things we need!

Santa & Fenwick's window!

Today I was so excited as we were going to see Santa! We went in the car and met nanna in Newcastle and went into Fenwick's to see him. Lori and I went in to tell him what we would like for Christmas, and I showed him my nails which I had done earlier. Santa was very impressed!

Then we went to look at Fenwick's window where they have a huge Christmas display packed with colourful, animatronic characters, and Christmassy music. Really gets you in the mood :)

Just brushing my teeth

Morning all,
It's Friday morning and part of my routine for getting ready for nursery is to make sure my teeth are nice and clean. Daddy says my teeth will fall out if I don't brush them so I'm being extra careful to reach the back ones and get them all nice and shiny clean. Daddy normally brushes them for me but I want to start to do it myself. It's not that difficult and the Peppa Pig toothbrush helps make brushing teeth fun!

Christmas time!

Hi everyone, it's Christmas time! Daddy brought home a tree this afternoon and it was really great fun putting the decorations on. Mummy untangled the lights whilst Lori and I put the shiny balls on. We had Christmas music on and suddenly a cold winter's day felt all warm & cosy.

Whitley Bay Christmas Fayre

Today we all went along to the Whitley Bay Christmas Fayre at the Spanish City to see what was going on. Uncle Jordan was there too; he's very tall although when Daddy lifts me up to the ceiling, I think I'm taller. We saw my aunties Emma and Kirsty, there were stalls selling lovely cakes and we got to go inside the dome at the top. Daddy was chatting to his friends from the football who he saw there and although I found the dome impressive, I was really keen to go on the magic teacups with Lori. We were starting to feel really cold by then so the magic wore off pretty quickly but nice to have a trip out!

Like my new hair?

Today mummy and Lori decided to treat me to a bit of hair care. Normally I don't really have much done to my hair; the odd hair clip and maybe a brush here and there but today I went for the straight look. What do you think? I wasn't sure I liked it, or whether it'd last, and sure enough after one sleep it went back to being all curly.

Circle time for my teddy bears

At nursery we like to arrange ourselves into a circle from time to time. It's called "circle time" and we all sing songs. My teddy bears looked a bit tired so whilst Lori sorted her hair out I thought I'd arrange them for their own circle time, although they didn't end up being in a circle exactly...

Hello everybody, how are you?

I've been warming up for a spot of Christmas carolling and I thought I'd do a shout out to all my blog readers, as well as to Micky Mouse and my teddy bears (my fellas).  Peace out, y'all.

Punkin Halloween!

It's Halloween! Daddy made some lovely soup whilst Lori and I carved a scary face into one of the punkins. Lori also went out in the street, dressed as a witch and came home with a big bag of sweets! I worry about her sometimes.

Kitchen's finished!

I must admit I was initially worried when Daddy was breaking our kitchen but I started getting excited as our new kitchen began to take shape. It look a long time and a lot of people worked really hard on it. I think it was worth it though.

Off to nursery

For my liking, it's normally a bit too early in the morning when we're heading out to nursery, especially when people expect me to have my photo taken. Still, Daddy took this picture of me whilst I was waiting to go in to the car, and I think I look rather nice.

Balloon jumping man

As work continued on the kitchen we stopped to watch a man go up into space in a balloon and jump out. I didn't really understand it all but Mummy, Daddy and Lori were glued to the TV. He was called Felix, which I always thought was a cat's name.

Mind, I'm only 2 years old and even I noticed that MSNBC News got just a *little* carried away with their reporting of the event.

Check out my Geordie accent!

Thought I'd show Daddy one of the things I've been learning at new nursery :-)

Lori's happy birthday party!

Having already turned 9 on Thursday, today was Lori's special happy birthday party which we had at Build-a-Bear which is in Fenwicks, in Newcastle! All of Lori's friends arrived and we had a great time choosing our bears and the clothes they'd wear. Afterwards we had some tea in the café next door. We made some lovely bears and Lori had a great happy birthday party! xxx
