Baking cakes for the cake sale!

The latest fundraising cake sale was upon us and I was helping out in the kitchen making some of the cup cakes to go on sale! We need to nip to the shop for some things and as you can see from the first picture, I was worried Daddy was going to drive off without me haha!

Happy Daddy's Day!

Special Happy Father's Day to my Daddy today! He was busy cooking when I brought him his presents and he loved the jigsaw piece ornament I got him! I also got him a special holder for his glasses! We celebrated with all the Jamesons being over for a BBQ, and it was a lovely sunny day!

Auntie Sue & the Jamesons weekend, BBQ & fun!

Fun weekend with all the Jamesons in town! Firstly Grandad Keith and Caroline returned from their mammoth Hadrian's Wall walk so we went over to Kirsty's to see them. Daddy headed in to Tynemouth for a walk along the coast before heading back to get ready to head out to Davanti's for pizza!

On Sunday Auntie Sue arrived with Uncle Paul and Auntie Tracy from Durham. Paul & Tracy stayed briefly to say hi and they brought their lovely sausage dog Ralph with them! What a treat! Auntie Sue stayed with us and we had a BBQ - Uncle Mark, Cath, Nina and Auntie Kirsty came over to enjoy some food on the new BBQ! Later Lucas arrived and we had a lovely Chinese take away, before it was soon my bed time.

Auntie Sue stayed a few days which was great! The next day Daddy was working but we headed down to the Spanish City for tea & cakes at Valerie's before enjoying some ice cream from Di Meo's!

Just before Look North was due to hit our screens Daddy & I decided to get some fresh air and take the dogs to the field near our house for a good run around. As usual they had great fun, as did we!

BBC Look North came to film us!

Mummy had arranged for BBC Look North to do a feature on my Daddy and about his treatment for cancer. Daddy can't get a certain drug on the NHS as it's not currently available but we're raising money and campaigning for the drug to become available. Megan Paterson and her camerman colleague Jeff came to our house and set up filming so they could interview us. It was lots of fun and very interesting, and the edited clip went out on that night's edition at 6:30pm!

We were quite excited to watch it when it was on, and we thought it was brilliant - they even had a little clip of me saying something! I think everyone came across very well.

Doing my chores

It's important that I do my chores to help mummy & daddy around the house, and hopefully to get my pocket money too, if I do them all!

Off out recycling with Evie Elliott!

We went out today to do our bit to clean up the environment by doing a spot of litter picking and recycling. We found lots of bottles & cans just thrown in the bushes around where we live. It was a good feeling to make the place a bit tidier, and to do some recycling in the process!
