Our new puppy has arrived home!

I have been counting down to today for the past few weeks - today is the day we bring our new Poochon puppy home! A Poochon is a cross between a Bichon Frise and a Poodle - Mickey is excited to be getting a new brother and we can't wait to have the Poochon with us here!
We've already named him Buddy and his new bed is all ready for him! Welcome Buddy! 🐾 x

Painting the kitchen!

Mummy has spent hours painting the kitchen and we think she's done a great job! The new colour scheme works really well, and it makes the kitchen feel like a happy room! I love it - well done mummy xx

Sunday lunch with the family down the Fish Quay

The family got together this afternoon to try out the Allards restaurant on the Fish Quay. It was a lovely place; food was good, and Nina and I loved the outdoor dining area! Also great to see everyone :-)

Plastered in the kitchen

We got a plasterer in over the last few days to plaster the gaps in the walls - it looks like he's done a decent job on the whole. We'll be ready to paint in a few days!

Playing with Penny

Penny was always the more scratchy & bitey of the two hamsters but I thought she needed a cuddle after we lost Parker the other day. She was lovely and didn't bite me once! I think Parker's spirit HAS gone into Penny. Maybe we should rename her PennyParker - haha!

Egypt Day at school!

I was very excited for today because it was Egypt Day and we all got to go into school dressed in an Egyptian costume. Here's my costume - what do you think?! :-)

RIP Parker :-(

I was upset tonight to find that our lovely hamster Parker had died. Maybe Parker's spirit will go into his sister Penny and make her a bit less scratchy. x

Daddy visits my class for Book Look!

We had an Book Look this morning where parents could come in to see the progress us kids were making in our lessons. Daddy came in to this one and we sat and went through my work in maths, writing and science - I also showed Daddy my pen license since I'm now allowed to use a pen at school! Great morning - Daddy was the last parent to leave - he almost had to stay for our lessons - ha ha.

Taking down the kitchen walls

Mummy has an idea to make a larger room with the kitchen & dining room and so she wants the walls taken down. It didn't take long before they were pretty much all gone - good progress but lots still to do. One of the neighbours must have had some fireworks left over from 5 days ago and let them all off on the night time. Good way to celebrate Newcastle finally winning also - ha ha x

Jesmond Dene, & homework time

We had a free Sunday so Mummy took me away to Jesmond Dene for a day out. We had a great time as always - here I am on a huge tree log!

Later it was time to catch up with my Egyptian project homework at my new desk which my cousin Amy gave me. I love this desk!

Laser adventures in camouflage!

My friend Laila was over for the day so we went to BattleZone Laser for some laser shooting adventures. We had a great time and I think we both look great in our army outfits ha ha!
