Some pretty scary and impressive thunder tonight - followed by some weird summer hail the next day! Suppose we were due some strange weather with all the nice sunshine we'd been having!
Once upon a time, in the year two thousand and ten and on the twenty fourth day of the third month, a little girl was born at 12:31pm in Newcastle. She was named Eleanor Frances Jameson and all her family smiled. This is her tale...

Paige's leaving party
Auntie Paige was leaving to go and work in Vietnam so we had a leaving party for her. We had some nice food and played some games in the garden. It is sad to see her go but I look forward to catching up with her on FaceTime! x

Lily's birthday party!
It was excited to be going to Lily's 8th birthday party - at "Re-create Today" in Whitley Bay. It's a craft place and the lady from the place helped us decorate a large letter of the first initial of our name!

Lovely trip to the seaside!
The weather was hot and we fancied going out for a while, so we hopped in the car and made our way to the coast for a stroll and a bite to eat.
We popped in to the amusements for half an hour to see if I could win a squishie on the 2p nudge machines (success!) before heading over the road to the Crab & Waltzer cafe for a drink and a bite to eat. Lovely place & can definitely recommend.
We caught up with Lori and her friend Erin before checking out the classic cars & buses that were on display on the Links. There were some really snazzy ones there and it was a real eye opener to see what cars used to be like! The buses were great - really old fashioned but really cool at the same time!
Before heading back home to chill in the garden he headed down to the beach for a quick paddle! The sun was blazing hot and although the water was cold (well, duh!) there were still plenty of people swimming in the sea! With the weather it was just like being on holiday!
Great day, and back in plenty of time for the World Cup final, which daddy liked ;-) x
Quick game of Subbuteo (on my Subbuteo / magnetic noticeboard) with Daddy before we headed out (my Brazil team beat his Newcastle team 4-3!)

Sitting outside the Crab & Waltzer
Classic cars - Daddy said that Nanna had one of these Riley Elf cars!
Even a Darlington bus to remind Daddy of when he was little!
Blast from the past!
Ding ding! All aboard!
Then on to the beach for a paddle in the freezing cold water!!

Our beautiful hamsters!
Here's Parker & Penny, our two lovely new Syrian hamsters - Parker's the darker one. They're so tame and love it when I play with them - I think they're good friends and we often let them play together. They can get really noisy in the night though when they're running in their wheels!

Practising my skipping
Started to get into a bit of skipping! We do it at school so I thought I'd do a bit of practise tonight. What do you think?
