Once upon a time, in the year two thousand and ten and on the twenty fourth day of the third month, a little girl was born at 12:31pm in Newcastle. She was named Eleanor Frances Jameson and all her family smiled. This is her tale...

Half term trip to Inflataspace!
Mummy took Amy and me to Inflataspace in Newcastle for the afternoon. What a great place! Lots to bounce on and slide on, and an Ninja Warrior style challenge where you had to jump over a revolving foam bar! Great fun!

Caravan weekend in Seton Sands!
Mummy and Auntie Jen were running the Edinburgh Half Marathon so we were off to Edinburgh for the weekend. Well, actually the holiday park in Seton Sands, just outside of Edinburgh. The caravan was lovely and the weather was nice & sunny. We had lots of time to play in the play area, and we hired a two-man Go-Kart which Amy and I pedalled around the site!
On the Sunday the full marathon was on and since the route took the runners past our holiday park we couldn't pass up the chance to watch the runners go by and shout encouragement!
On the Sunday evening Uncle Gary, Amy and Daddy went down the beach and they came back with a massive bag of mussels and winkles. We ate some of them but I didn't think they were that nice!
We were all together in the same caravan on the last night and it was such a sight in the morning to see the Hughes' all sleeping in the same place, haha!
Mummy and Jen both did really well on the half marathon so a great weekend all round!

Trip to Cullercoats bay!
Just before Uncle Andrew was heading home we popped down to the seafront for a quick run around the beach, and a quick drink at The View in Cullercoats.
The ending of mine & Uncle Andrew's new handshake!

BBQ at Uncle Mark's!
Uncle Andrew was in town so we headed to Uncle Mark's for another BBQ - we had a great time playing football andhaving some lovely food. It was a boiling hot day and of course everyone was drinking beer!
Royal Wedding!
Prior to going to Uncle Mark's for another BBQ we saw a bit of the Royal Wedding. Not sure Mick was that interested though!

Handball tournament representing the school!
The school were taking part in a Handball tournament involving half a dozen schools from around the area. And I was selected for the team! We didn't fare too well in the matches; most of the kids were in the year above us, but we gave it a good go and all really enjoyed ourselves!

Cycle ride to Silverlink!
A beautiful morning and we started the day chilling on the deck, listening to some music.
In the afternoon we decided to go to Silverlink and I decided to go on my bike! Eight miles there and back - definitely the longest bike ride I've done so far!

Later that day it was interesting that the One Show compared the weather in the UK today with other typically hot places around the world!

Quick BBQ & paddling pool at Uncle Mark's!
The sun was out so we thought we'd nip to Uncle Mark's for a quick BBQ with Uncle Mark, Nina and Nanna. And a splodge in the paddling pool of course!
