Holidays in Mallorca!!

What better way to finish off the summer holidays than with a week in Cala d'Or in Mallorca!! We were so excited in the weeks leading up to this, and it didn't disappoint! Nanna dropped us off at the airport for our flight and it wasn't long before we were on our way.

First thing we did after arriving at the hotel was go for a bite to eat and little explore. Once we got sorted we had a little look down to the beach before heading off to the nearby vegetarian restaurant for some veggie tapas!

We certainly made the most of the beach & the pool during the week, and every day we were at one or the other, or both! The weather was ace and it didn't rain once!

We had to be careful of the sun so we kept our sun cream topped up - whilst daddy kept our ice creams topped up - ha ha.

The ice creams in Mallorca are amazing - and the crepes aren't bad either!!

There were lots of small fish fish swimming in the sea where we were playing but one day we noticed a bigger fish - it looked a bit like a shark!

Speaking of fish, in the evening as we walked through the town we dropped in to the Fish Spa where Any & I got our feet nibbled at by a load of tiny fish! It was really tickly but really fun!

On Wednesday we met up with Jen, Gary, Jay & Amy, who were staying at the same hotel. It was great with us all there together going down to the beach, the pool and wandering out on a night time to have something to eat.

My swimming was coming along really well and was able to swim across the deep end from one side to the other!

We spent loads of time at the main pool and I loved it when Lori, Jay and Amy were swimming with me!

Later that day I noticed one of my teeth was loose and after giving it a good wiggle it eventually came out, in the Marfil Restaurant, where we enjoyed going for pizza on a night time. I left a note for the Spanish Tooth Fairy along with my tooth and sure enough, in the morning the tooth was gone! And, she left me €4!

On Thursday mummy bought some fruit from the man selling coconuts and melons from a wheelbarrow, before we hired pedalos and took them out to the entrance to the cove of Cala Ferrera. It was especially exciting as the pedalos had slides on them and we all took turns sliding off into the deep, green sea! It was so lovely - even I had a turn! Uncle Gary caught me at the bottom!

On Friday, mummy & daddy hired bikes and went for a bike ride along the coast whilst we spent the day with Jen & Gary before we all met up pool-side.

Later we all headed out together for tea & an evening at the fun fair in Cala Gran,
including some extreme trampolining!

We all visited some great places - including this Hawaiian Tiki bar in the main town, which also had a Thai Ice Cream maker outside! The ice cream was made on a cold grill in front of us, and it was deee-lish!

The week flew by and it wasn't long before we were having our last night before we had to come home. We went for dinner at our favourite place before having one last night on the bouncy castles! In between I even got my hair braided which was really cool!

We were up early on the Sunday morning to come back home on the plane - tired, but already thinking about when we can return! I think this has been the best Mallorca yet!

Hasta luego Mallorca, until next time!! x
