Late afternoon trip to Tynemouth Park!

Amy dropped by for a visit so daddy took us both over to Tynemouth Park for a quick play on the bouncy castles. We enjoyed a slush to cool down - it was a lovely sunny day!

Summer holiday lessons for my teddies

It might be the summer holidays for me but Mickey & the teddies still get summer school. I'm doing the lesson with Kermit this afternoon!

Trip up the coast to see Auntie Alice!

Quick trip up the coast to see Auntie Alice in Warkworth today! We saw Skye and Finlay and had a good time playing in the park!

Pirate Maze at Tynemouth Park!

First day of the school holidays and daddy was off work to look after me. So, we headed over to Tynemouth Park to go in the Pirate Quest maze! It was ace; we had a treasure map to follow and as we hunted for clues we bumped in to a few scary characters along the way! Eventually we made it to the end and having collected all the clues my reward was 8 pieces of gold! We enjoyed those with a quick drink in the Greenhouse afterwards. Great day!

Sarah Mac's wedding in Bellingham!

Today was Sarah Mac's wedding day! So, off we went up to Bellingham (near Kielder) to enjoy a lovely day, with Amy who came along with us. The wedding was lovely and we had a great time playing on the climbing frame, and on the field after a smashing dinner. We didn't stay too long as mummy was driving us back but Sarah looked beautiful and it was a fab wedding! Congratulations both!

It's the Summer holidays!!

Last day of school, and it's the Summer holidays! Six whole weeks off - yippee!!

Nice sunny day so what better excuse for taking Mickey out for a walk and picking up a lovely ice cream on the way! Roll on the Summer holidays!

Subbuteo championships!

After Daddy had turned his old Subbuteo football pitch into a magnetic noticeboard he made sure it was also able to double up as a useable Subbuteo pitch! Unfortunately all his old Subbuteo from when he was a boy was lost but he was able to order a few bits & pieces, some goals and a couple of teams off eBay - this afternoon we had our first championship!

Daddy was Newcastle and I was Brazil - I soon got the hang of it and it wasn't long before Brazil were 1-0 up! Daddy equalised but I scored a last minute winner from the penalty spot! And Brazil were the champions!!

Tynemouth Festival!

Daddy & I decided to jump on the Metro to head to Tynemouth for the annual Tynemouth Festival. It was lovely - not long after we got there we caught up with Nanna, Uncle Mark and Nina who were there before checking out all the wonderful VW Beetle cars they had lined up. We enjoyed all the festival acts they had, including the acrobats and the ladies on the massive emus! It was hungry work so we grabbed some fish & chips and found a spot to sit down and relax. Lovely day!

School Sports Day!

After the last Sports Day was cancelled due to the rainy weather I was pleased to see the weather today was nice & sunny! Nanna & Daddy were coming along to see our Sports Day and it was so much fun!

In our groups we did lots of activities one after another, including: running, jumping hurdles, egg & spoon race, hopping, and taking a penalty - as you'll see below, my penalty was excellent!

Stage school production: Fruigtables and Oliver!

Big day for Lori & me. All our hard work throughout the year was leading to today, performing live on the stage of the Whitley Bay Playhouse!

I was on first in Fruigtables (I was a poppycorn!), before the older group took to the stage for Oliver, featuring our Lori!

It was so exciting and the shows went very well. After our show I came round into the audience to watch Lori in Oliver. It was a brilliant show!

Shiremoor treat!

We walked across to Shiremoor this afternoon to check out this year's Shiremoor Treat - the annual funfair that pops up on the fields near our house for a couple of days.

I had a dress rehearsal to go to at stage school later so we didn't have time to stay too long but there was enough time for a go on the waltzer (dizzy!), the horse ride, the water bubbles, the helter skelter, and finally the Crazy Bulls ride! We picked up some hot donuts for the way home!
