New PB at the Parkrun!

Lovely Sunday morning, once again down at the sea front, but this time I was running in the Junior Parkrun. I did my very best and managed to get round without stopping, largely thanks to mummy's excellent coaching! I was delighted to find out afterwards that I got a PB of 14 minutes 11 seconds!

An afternoon at the Heaton Festival!

Another lovely sunny day and today we were off to Heaton for the annual Heaton Festival! Mummy and I took part in some activities with the Heaton Harriers who had a stall set up, whilst Daddy, Gary & Jen chilled out in front of the main stage and enjoyed a few drinks. We later joined them and after a quick hot dog, it was time to go. Fun day!

Lovely day for planting flowers!

It was a nice day and we noticed our flower beds were looking a little sad so daddy suggested a trip to the garden centre. We went to Earsdon Plant Centre to pick up some flowers and we spent the afternoon planting them. Lovely way to enjoy a hot, sunny Sunday afternoon!

Once we finished planting we watered the flowers in and when daddy switched on the lawn sprinkler I couldn't resist running through it!

Father's Day walk to the sea front!

It's Father's Day! We woke Daddy up nice and early to give him his presents - a "Yoda Best Dad" Star Wards cup, and a t-shirt & shorts. Once we were all up and ready, I watered the plants, filled the bird feeder before, to give Daddy a treat, we took a walk down to the sea front for chips & ice cream. It was a lovely day to be by the sea side, and the chips were amazing! We walked along to the food fair they had set up next to the Spanish City dome, and of course we got some great exercise!

Time to feed the birds & have "big tens" with Mickey! :-)

Can't wait for this in a few weeks!

School trip to St Mary's Lighthouse!

I couldn't wait for today! Not only was it the day of our long awaited school trip, but also Mummy was coming along to help out! It was great being able to look in all the rock pools and then climb the lighthouse. Mummy was too scared to go up to the top but I loved it! Great day!

Art shop is open!

After Nanna picked me up from school we did some painting. I was quite pleased with the things I'd painted so I decided to set up a shop and sell them. They went quite quickly once Mummy & Daddy got home and started buying their favourites ones!

General Election Day!!

Today's the General Election, and Mummy and Daddy were up early to go out and vote at the church round the corner. If I was voting I'd vote for Jeremy Corbyn because he looks like a Star Wars character! :-)

After a hard day at school it was soon time for lessons for the teddies. Here I am taking register and making sure everyone was there.

Cheeky trip to the lighthouse!

We were at a loose end so with the weather looking nice we thought we'd head out in the car. We headed down to the sea front before Daddy suggested we go to the lighthouse! It was my dolly Lola's birthday so what a lovely birthday treat for her! We packed her pram in the boot and headed off. When we got there we quickly checked the crossing times and it was safe to cross, so off we went! To St Mary's island!

We went for a little wander around the island, and round the back to see if we could see some resting seals on the rocks! Sure, enough there was one grey & white seal just chillaxing in the sun & getting his energy back. Can't be easy swimming in the North Sea!

On our way back we were checking some rock pools for sea life before heading back to the car - but not before we got an ice cream and sat on the grass to enjoy the nice weather.

Before we headed home there was just time for a quick visit to Earsdon Park to take Lola on the swings. She had such a lovely birthday, and such a lovely birthday day out! Happy Birthday Lola!! xx
