Whitley Bay Junior Parkrun!

It was a lovely, sunny Sunday morning so we met Auntie Jen, Grandad Paul & Amy at the coast for the Whitley Bay Junior Parkrun. 2K along Whitley Bay's picturesque seafront. It was hard work but I made it in just over 15 minutes; thanks to Mummy & Daddy running with me, and Auntie Jen & Grandad Paul cheering me on from the sidelines!

Bouncy slides at Tynemouth Park

Spotting a break in the weather Daddy & I headed to Tynemouth and to Tynemouth Park to Adam Scott's bouncy castles! I spent most of the time on the bouncy slide and made the most of it before the rain came back. Before we left we walked along to get chips & ice cream! Perfect!

Goodnight Mr Tom!

Tonight we went to see Goodnight Mr Tom at Whitley Bay Playhouse. A few of the lads 'n lasses from Stage School were in it so we were excited to see how they got on. They didn't disappoint; it was superb! Lori's friend Erin was fantastic!

Did the big Parkrun in Newcastle!

Today I did the grown up Parkrun with Mummy, Daddy, Auntie Jen & Owen in Newcastle! Well, I did most of it, but 5K is quite a stretch for my little legs. I did as much as I could before tiring so mummy carried me the rest of the way! Great way to start a Saturday!

Made a lighthouse at school!

We're doing a project on lighthouses at the moment which includes a trip to St Mary's Lighthouse in a few weeks! In the meantime, check out this lighthouse I made. It's modelled on Souter Lighthouse in South Shields which we climbed up to the top of back in September last year!

Day out at the beach!

The sun was out, and Uncle Andrew & Auntie Suzie were up from Manchester so we decided to head to the beach with Nanna. Uncle Andrew & Daddy kicked a football on the beach and we headed into The View restaurant for a hot chocolate & a sit down! Auntie Kirsty arrived later with Andrew de Winter and we sat outside for a bit before heading home. Later we went over to Nanna's for a Chinese take away which was yummy!

Nice lazy Sunday chilling out with Mickey and my teddies! Mickey seemed to enjoy strawberry laces as much as I do!

Stage School fundraising event!

After stage school they put on a fundraiser; face painting, games and raffles - that sort of thing. It was good fun - I got a Hello Kitty glitter hand tattoo (not permanent) :), we played lots of games (including "knock the bottles over with your head wearing tights filled with a tennis ball") and we even met Elsa from Frozen who popped in! Good times!

Listening to The Beatles

Daddy put on one of his old records today - The Beatles' "Sgt Pepper" album which will be 50 years old this summer! Actually I think that record was originally bought by Grandad Keith in 1967! I loved reading the words off the back of the sleeve as I listened!

Daddy & Nanna's birthday!

Today was a special day; Daddy & Nanna's birthday!! Daddy was at work all day but when he got home we had a little celebration. Here's me bringing him his candle to blow out! We popped over to see Nanna after to take her presents round. Daddy is really happy with the football top Mummy got him, and he loved the special pen I got him! Happy birthday both! xx
