Daddy was arriving back today from Uncle Andrew's stag do in Barcelona so before we headed home to give him a cuddle there was just time for a quick track session down at Churchill track!
Once upon a time, in the year two thousand and ten and on the twenty fourth day of the third month, a little girl was born at 12:31pm in Newcastle. She was named Eleanor Frances Jameson and all her family smiled. This is her tale...

Trip to South Shields and Souter Lighthouse!
We fancied a change of scene on Sunday so we headed through the tunnel to see the Souter Lighthouse just near South Shields. We fancied some lunch so headed to Marsden Grotto. Unfortunately they didn't take cards so we went elsewhere but came back to visit the lighthouse.
Daddy and I were brave enough to climb the spiral staircase, and then the near vertical staircase, to the very top of the lighthouse. The views were incredible and it was really interesting to see the actual lighthouse light close up.

Nice day out with mummy to the Quayside
What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon out and about than to chill out in Newcastle with mummy! We were taking photos of me reading in strange places for a school project and we hung around the Quayside mainly, since it was a lovely day. We went to the cat café again and even bumped in to a friendly snowdog!

Great North Run 2016!
Mummy and Auntie Jen ran the Great North Run today! 13.1 miles! It was so exciting - we headed to Newcastle on the Metro to the start line where we watched all the runners (all 56,000 of them!) gather along the Central Motorway ready for the off. We had a great view, and it was fascinating to see all the runners bobbing along the road, especially when looking down from the bridge. Even more fascinating were the runners in fancy dress! We saw all sorts of characters, including superheroes and even a man carrying a fridge on his back!
After a few minutes we got the bus to South Shields to the finish line where we waited for our proud runners in the Mind charity tent. We enjoyed some snacks & drinks with Jen, Gary, Amy and Grandad, and had a great time sitting in the sun and watching the Red Arrows fly past doing their aerobatics! We were all shattered by the end of the day, especially mummy! So proud of her today.

Great pic of Mo Farah that Uncle Gary Hughes took whilst watching the runners with Amy

I'm a cyclist!
I was having some trouble learning to ride my bike on the pavements around our house so we took a trip to Newcastle and to Recyke Y'bike where we had some cycling lessons planned.
We began by removing my pedals and the man taught us balancing by rolling down the hill and seeing if we could keep our balance and keep our feet off the ground for as long as possible.
Eventually the pedals went back on and after a few trial runs I was doing it! See for yourself below - I am so proud of myself today!

Back to school!
Well the summer holidays had to end some time and, well, they ended yesterday. Today was the first day of the new school year and I, for one, was really excited to be going back to school to see my new teachers and all my friends. Oh and new shoes, don't forget the new shoes!
