Pirate day at Seaton Delaval Hall!

It's Pirate Day at Delaval Hall! We all got dressed up in our best pirate costumes and headed over to join in the excitement! Harry came along with us and we all had a fab time!

Keeping fit with mummy!

We arrived back from Newcastle just in time to get to mummy's circuits class. I wondered if I could go along too. It's was great fun! Feeling very fit after this!

Cheeky trip to Newcastle!

We decided to head into Newcastle today to check out the new Body Worlds Animals exhibition at Centre for Life. After circling the city for what seemed like forever Daddy finally found somewhere to park - at the football ground! So we walked down the hill, underneath the Milburn Stand and past Sir Bobby Robson to the city centre. We were hungry but fortunately the endless debate about where we should go occurred earlier and we were on our way to Za Za Bazaar in the Gate, and it was fantastic! I had some sushi, some noodles, a burger, and lots and lots of ice cream!

As soon as we got to Centre for Life we made a bee-line for the 4D motion ride. There was some doubt over whether I'd be tall enough but after some creative hairdressing we were in! The ride was great; basically we were on a space ship fighting massive robots whilst getting jolted about and sprayed with water!

The Bodyworlds exhibition itself was pretty fascinating with all manner of preserved animals stripped back to just bone, tendon and muscle. Incredible to see what animals look like under their skin!

An afternoon out at Alnwick Gardens

Summer holidays wouldn't be complete without a scorching hot day and a trip to Alnwick Gardens to play in the water park! Amy came with us and we met up with Auntie Alice & Finley. We all got absolutely soaked, but we soon dried off!

Celebrating the return of The Great British Bake Off!

My favourite grown-up programme on TV is back tonight: The Great British Bake Off!! To celebrate, and in preparation, we made chocolate mug cakes!

Bye Bye Auntie Paige!

Tomorrow Auntie Paige is leaving for America to study so we thought we'd take her out to Tynemouth for something to eat, and for one last look at the seaside before she goes! Good job it was a lovely, hot sunny day!

Gravity Force!

Mummy took us over to Gravity Force trampoline park in Sunderland today for an afternoon of bouncy excitement! Jay & Amy came along with us and we all had a fab time bouncing and tumbling all over the place!

A day at the circus!

The circus was in town and this was too good an opportunity to miss! We drove out to pick up Jay, Amy and the Nannas before heading over to the big top in Shiremoor. We had a great time! There were dare devils, jugglers, Georgie the clown and some amazing acrobats! Georgie even made me this lovely flower out of a balloon. Great day.

Watching Mummy, Auntie Jen and Grandad in the Darlington 10K!

We had a great day in Darlington watching mummy, Auntie Jen and Grandad all run in the Darlington 10K! We met up with Auntie Jen, Uncle Gary, Jay, Amy and Grandad in Newcastle at the station and headed on to the train. Before we knew it we were arriving in Darlington as pre-race nerves were beginning to gather. The excitement of the event was building up as we waited in the market square and with the race a few minutes away the runners headed for the start line!

We watched them set off before having a stroll around the town centre to figure out where to have lunch after. We headed up to the finish line just in time to see them all cross the finish line!

Afterwards we headed to the Woollen Mill for lunch before walking back up the road to catch the train home. Great day, and really proud of our great runners!
