Today we went round to grandad's to celebrate Nanna Roda's birthday. Not sure how old she is but regardless, she's looking great for it! Happy Birthday Nanna! x
Once upon a time, in the year two thousand and ten and on the twenty fourth day of the third month, a little girl was born at 12:31pm in Newcastle. She was named Eleanor Frances Jameson and all her family smiled. This is her tale...

Another trip to Mallorca, you say? Go on then!
Just six weeks after we returned from our last visit to Spain we were off again! Auntie Jen & Uncle Gary were going and mummy got a special deal so we thought we'd join them for another fun filled, week of sun & swimming!
After proudly showing my own passport upon arriving in Palma airport it was clear it was going to be a lot hotter than last time - over 30 degrees & roaring sunshine every day, in fact. I was sweating as soon as I got off the plane! And as soon as we arrived at the hotel our first thoughts were to head straight for the pool.
It was great being on holiday with Jen, Gary, Jay & Amy; we would all sit round the pool together, and with Jay & Amy there Lori and I had more people to play in the pool with. On an evening we usually walked out in to Sa Coma town to see what was going on, have some food and soak up the atmosphere (and the warm evenings!).
I think my favourite trip out was when we took a taxi over to Cala Bona to enjoy the Fiesta de la Mare de Déu del Carme. After we saw the parade we hired these awesome horses (not real ones) which you sat on and 'pedalled' by pressing down on the stirrups (pics below). Us kids really enjoyed them, and mummy & daddy even had a turn! The evening ended with a huge firework display, which we enjoyed from the queue of the nearby kebab shop mummy and daddy went to :)
Another favourite was the main sea front stretch of Sa Coma where we hired scooters & electric buggies, and I got a real taste for mussels in some of the restaurants. And on the last night we went to the night time market where someone had a trained pig which was wearing lipstick! I couldn't stop laughing! Mostly though we could have just about all the fun we needed playing in the pool (particularly the kids' splash pool!). It was great going on holiday with Auntie Jen & Uncle Gary and I think we'd definitely do it again. Hasta luego, España! x

Just landed...
...and our first view of the main pool!
As you can imagine, we couldn't wait to jump in!
Lori and Amy relaxing on the balcony!
The hotel 'train' which carries guests to and from the beach
Lori and I bouncing our way down the water slide!
On our trip over to the lovely Cala Bona I was clearly a bit put off by the coconut on sale!
After we'd had a nice time in the marina we hired these awesome horses to ride around on!
I think this is where mummy & daddy said they wanted to move us all to.
Well, as long it's got a pool in the back garden ;-)

Love birds in Sa Coma!
And a cool local band playing next to the sea
Like the new tattoo I got on my neck? :-)
When the bell rings the water crashes down!!
Nice day for a walk along the front
Call me shellfish, but I definitely developed a taste for mussels in Mallorca!
Daddy's favourite lilo which Jay got for him specially :)
Couldn't help laughing at this sign on a house we walked past!
Amy and I hired these ace electric buggies!
Jay and his new friend playing a game of pool while
we refuel at the local English bar on our way into town.

Irish bars aplenty in Sa Coma!
We spent a couple of great evenings here at Café Hermanos Jiminez
- a real slice of Spanish life in a stunning outdoor setting and we were made to feel very welcome.
There was a pig, wearing lipstick!!
After all the excitement we forgot about it being too hot to sleep!
A true Mallorcan paradise x
