Holiday in Mallorca!

We've been excited about this since Christmas when Mummy & Daddy booked up! On May 24th the day was finally here as Nanna gave us a lift up to the airport. We were already in holiday mode and we couldn't wait to get there! We were going back to the same place as last year, Club Del Sol in Port de Pollença, in the north tip of the island. We had such a good time last year we couldn't say no to a return trip!

Off we go!

It was a long day but once we'd landed, collected our cases and boarded the transfer coach we were on our way to the hotel! In the morning we'd be in the pool & soaking up the Spanish sunshine!

Come in Lori! The water's lovely :)

Even mummy plucked up the courage to take a dip!

Inflatables at the ready (Lilo & Nemo)

Certificate for being a Kids' Club Chocolate Monster!

Great entertainment tonight with this guy playing some rock classics!

On Wednesday we took the bus to the town to visit the market and have a spot of lunch by the marina. We spotted this awesome sand sculpture on the beach before we dropped into the market. I really wanted to get my hair braided before we explored the various market stalls for goodies.

This little piggy went to market...

In the hot sunshine it didn't take us long to feel the need for a sit down and a couple of drinks. We had some calamari & ice cream too before we took a taxi back to the hotel for an afternoon cooling down in the pool!

Underwater swimming in the big pool!

Dancing with our new friend Tegan who we met by the pool!

Factor 50.

At the goal-end for today's water polo championship! Finished 5-0 to the "no hats".

By Friday I think the sun was getting to Lori & I a bit so we headed back to the room for a siesta whilst mummy & daddy chilled out in the private garden we had at the front of our apartment. Beautiful surroundings.

Sitting with Tegan at the front for tonight's entertainment; two singers performing a rock vs pop challenge. We weren't quite sure what it was all about but I think it was a draw.

At the kids disco getting on down to some current pop classics!

We'll miss this view but I'm sure we'll be back in the future. Such a lovely place to stay, the weather was great, the staff were lovely and we all had a cracking time. Viva España!

Super Readers assembly at school!

Today was the day of our school performance where we showed off how we were all Super Readers! All the parents came along to watch our show! I even had a couple of lines to say out loud, and had a 'word sound' card to hold up whilst everyone sang which you can see in the videos below.

Eleanor clapping out the syllables in her name

We know words that end in OW

Daddy and I decided to have a little kick about in the garden this evening and I was showing off my ball control skills that daddy taught me.

Joseph's birthday party at the Tree House

Joseph, from my class, turned 5 and today was his birthday party. It was held at the soft play in Whitley Lodge and we all had great fun bouncing around in the adventure complex. Later we sat down for some food before enjoying the soft play some more. We were all shattered when we finished but we all had a thoroughly great time! Happy birthday Joseph!

Auntie Kirsty's 30th birthday celebrations!

It was Auntie Kirsty's birthday today and to celebrate we all headed down to Tynemouth, to an Indian restaurant on Front Street. Mark & Claire were there, as was Nanna, Mummy, Daddy, Lori and Kirsty's boyfriend Andrew. We had lots of lovely Indian food (I had a Korma) and later Kirsty opened her presents, and the staff even brought her a cake with candles! Such a great evening and most importantly, Auntie Kirsty had a fab birthday!

Off to vote in the General Election 2015!

As soon as Daddy got home we were off back out the door to vote. Daddy explained to me that we were, in effect, going to choose who was going to be the next Prime Minister. I was exciting to go in and we had to be very quiet. The people behind the counter were very nice and Daddy showed me everything that went on. He even showed me his ballot paper, prior to him writing a cross in the Labour boxes. I want to vote for Labour when I'm old enough.
