The excitement in 2014 wasn't over just yet. We had a party lined up, at Auntie Emma's in Whitley Bay! We got our best frocks on and had a great time with lots of lovely food and party games. I even had a friendly balloon fight with Harry!
I hope this new year is as exciting as the last!

Once upon a time, in the year two thousand and ten and on the twenty fourth day of the third month, a little girl was born at 12:31pm in Newcastle. She was named Eleanor Frances Jameson and all her family smiled. This is her tale...

Farewell 2014!
Well, it's the last day of 2014 and what a year it's been.
I've baked cakes, written songs on the ukulele, learned to read & write, started big school, welcomed new arrivals (hi Finlay & Harper!), turned 4, learned to make sushi, had ballet lessons, rescued some butterflies, planted a popcorn tree, got my 10 metre swimming badge, went to Spain, became a regular at Seven Stories, learned to horse-ride, collected seashells, watched the World Cup, practised my singing, went to Scotland, met Peppa Pig, went to Legoland, drove through a safari park, visited to St James' Park, learned some Spanish, attended Apple summer camp, enjoyed several birthday parties, helped Lori to celebrate turning 11, dressed as a witch for Halloween, saw the fireworks on Whitley Bay Links, recorded some Frozen covers, met Santa Claus, recorded a podcast, met Anna & Elsa from Frozen, acted in my school Christmas play, and much much more...
2014's been awesome! I hope it has been for you too. Happy New Year. Or as they say in Spain, Feliz Año Nuevo! All the best. Love, Lori & Eleanor x

Special visitor!
There was an unexpected visitor today; Princess Anna of Arendelle popped in for a chat with Mummy! Here she is, discussing some ideas for the next party she'll host at the castle.

Lovely trip into Newcastle
After all the festivities and relaxing at home we felt it necessary to leave the house for the day! So, we hopped in daddy's car and made our way to Newcastle. We dropped in at Seven Stories (I got my face painted!) before having some Chinese food for lunch and wandering around some shops. Mummy bought me a big Elsa/Anna Frozen balloon and a Frozen poster for my bedroom wall! Lovely day!

Colouring in, travelling the world and freezing daddy's car!
It's great being off school at Christmas as you get so much time to relax and play with lots of fun, new stuff! I set to work colouring in my new unicorn canvas before travelling the world with my LeapFrog pen on the world map. I even found time to use my magic to freeze Daddy's car, although I quickly put on my Elsa gloves before things got out of hand!

Boxing Day
Phew! That was such an amazing Christmas Day I think we all just fancied relaxing a bit today! Lori and I were playing with all our lovely presents and just generally enjoying the fact it was Christmas.
There was still time for a ride on my new bike round to nanny's before settling in at home for the night. Lori had a go with her new popcorn maker which, as you can see, went a little bit awry (with hilarious consequences) and I sat with Daddy to conquer my new Frozen jigsaw!

Happy Christmas everyone!!
Has he been?! Christmas morning, and after almost being too excited to sleep we woke up nice and early before bouncing into mummy & daddy's room! We all crept down the stairs and carefully opened the living room door and HE'D BEEN!!
Lori and I were so excited to see all our presents Santa left for us and we couldn't wait to open them! We even noticed that he'd had a nibble of his mince pie, and a sip of his drink, and Rudolph had taken a huge bite out of the carrot! The presents were all so lovely; I got lots of Frozen things which I really wanted, whilst Lori got a Sodastream and a new camera. Good job we've been good all year, I reckon. The excitement didn't end there though, as we went into the kitchen for our breakfast there was a further surprise. Lovely new bikes!! Best. Christmas. Ever!

After breakfast we got ourselves ready. Grandad and Christine popped round with Uncle Jordan and we exchanged gifts before Daddy got started on what was a lovely big Christmas dinner!
Later on nanna came round with Uncles Andrew & Mark, Aunties Claire & Kirsty, and Bruce. Even Tia was there, scurrying round excitedly! If you look carefully in the picture below, you'll see that even Princess Anna from Frozen popped in to with us a Happy Christmas!
By the end, I was absolutely shattered and fell asleep on the lovely new sofa Auntie Jen got for mummy for Christmas! What a wonderful day! Happy Christmas everyone! x

Christmas Eve!
Santa's on his way so there's just time for Lori & I to have a quick bath, to leave a mince pie and a little drink out for Santa, and not forgetting a carrot for Rudolph, then an early night! We also left a magic key (which nanna made) for Santa in case he didn't fancy the chimney. All bases covered! So exciting!!

Grand day out with Grandad Keith & everyone!
We had a great day today; firstly a Christmas card arrived for Lori and I from Auntie Brenda in Darlington. And it had some money in for us! Thanks Auntie Brenda!
Later we headed into Tynemouth for a lovely dinner with Grandad Keith, Uncle's Mark and Andrew, Aunties Kirsty & Claire, and Kirsty's boyfriend Andrew. We enjoyed a lovely array of tapas and I had a great time chatting to Auntie Claire! We're sorry Caroline couldn't be there though - we missed you!
Afterwards we headed to Kirsty's to swap some early presents! Grandad Keith & Caroline got Lori some hair chalks which we couldn't wait to get to work with, colouring everyone's hair! I got an activity book and some books about ponies! Excellent presents!
It had been a long day by the end and after enjoying looking out for all the houses decorated with Christmas lights I think I fell asleep in the car on the way home. Tiring day but a brilliant pre-Christmas day out with lovely family! Definitely feeling Christmassy now! x

Ready for the last day at school before Christmas!
Just trying on my outfit for the last day of school before Christmas! Mind, I might get asked to be a helper for all the teachers!
Edit: seems mummy got the days mixed up and it wasn't non-uniform day...
