Lori and I was enjoying some popcorn when I suddenly thought of a good idea. If I plant the popcorns that didn't pop in the garden then we could have a popcorn tree and we'd never run out!
Once upon a time, in the year two thousand and ten and on the twenty fourth day of the third month, a little girl was born at 12:31pm in Newcastle. She was named Eleanor Frances Jameson and all her family smiled. This is her tale...

Maker Faire is in town!
The Maker Faire is back in town! We loved so much it last year that we just had to go back again, and yes, my old friends the Daleks were there again!
We dropped in to Chinatown for some food first before Lori grabbed a quick Taiwanese bubble tea for the short walk across town. We arrived at the Centre for Life and there was so much great stuff to see & do. Lots of clever people who'd make the most amazing gadgets and robots, often out of the most unlikely of materials.
We made pipe-cleaner sheep and Lori tried to hook one on the "Sheep Rescue" game, there was a big Lego model of a train station and all sorts of other weird and wonderful technology-based attractions. A great day out and, if you haven't been before, a must-see if they come back again next year!

Robot made of wheelie bins? Yep, Binbot.
Making a right racket - all in the name of science
Standing guard so people wouldn't hassle my golden friend.

Our new picnic table
How do you like our new picnic table that Daddy's just finished building? It's very comfy - we just need some nice weather now so we can eat outside!
Happy Easter everyone!
The Easter Bunny had been and so Lori and I set off on another egg hunt around the house! Happy Easter everyone, and thanks Easter Bunny! x

Helping daddy (sort of)
Whilst we were planting flowers Daddy was beavering away making his new shed. Lori and I helped (by having fun nearby!) although later I did offer to take over the painting for a while.

Potting with my mummy
Since it was Good Friday and we were on holiday it was clearly a day for everyone to do some important jobs outside. Daddy was preparing to make his new shed whilst mummy started potting some lovely plants she'd bought. And I helped!
Butterfly rescue!
It was a lovely day and we were pottering round the garden when Daddy shouted me. He'd gone in to the shed to find something and discovered two BEAUTIFUL butterflies! He said they'd probably gone inside for the winter and then couldn't get out. It was lovely to hold them for a bit, and I waved bye bye as they flew away on their new adventures.

Lovely day at the fun fair
It was a lovely sunny day so we went to the fun fair on the sea front. There were all sorts of rides and fun things to do! Mummy got a bit scared taking me to the top of the big slide but I looked after her!

Sushi master!
For Christmas Santa brought Lori a voucher for sushi making lessons at Yo! Sushi in Newcastle, and today we all went along, with our friend Laura, to see how it's done. As we arrived they showed us to our table and told us all about sushi, before we donned our special gloves and learned how to roll our own!
We spread my short grain sushi rice on the nori paper, laid down a stick of cucumber and rolled it up using our sushi mats. Then our teacher cut it into portions and gave us it back to test. Absolutely delicious, and it was fab to learn how to make our own; even mine and Lori's sushis turned out well! As you can see from the certificates we all got, we're all on our way to becoming a sushi masters!
Receiving our cut sushi portions!
Taste testing our creations
All trained up!
Thanks to Andy & everyone at Yo! Sushi Newcastle for being so cool!
