My Happy 4th Birthday celebrations!!!

As my 4th birthday approached it was decided that, since my birthday was on Monday, we'd have friends and family round on the Sunday to have some tea & cake. I received some lovely presents from everyone who came round, including some Mr Men books, some lovely clothes, a Minnie Mouse jigsaw and much much more. Everyone had a lovely time as we all chatted and filled our faces with lots of food, and the lovely cakes nanna made. On my birthday I opened a couple of presents (Jessie!) before heading over to Grandad's for the morning. Grandad had got me lots of presents too and went to the park before he dropped me off at nursery. When we got home I opened my presents from Mummy & Daddy and I had some lovely noodles for my lovely birthday tea! Great birthday celebrations! Looking forward to seeing what being 4 years old brings!

Table's set and ready!

All set with my special flashing badge!

Cousin Amy and I playing with the balloons before everyone arrived!

We decorated the front door so visitors knew they were at the right house!

Here comes the beautiful cake!

Candles blown out with aplomb

Nice birthday tea with Paige, Christine and all the family

Just what I always wanted!

 Oooh, what could this be...

Woody from Toy Story! Tremendous!

A learning laptop! Awesome!

Feel so lucky to have got both Woody & Jessie!

Ace Hello Kitty go-cart! Can't wait to hit the pavements!

Thanks to everyone who got me all those lovely presents,
and who came to celebrate my birthday with me.
Hope you had as lovely a time as I did :) x

Quick drawing of me and Lori

Whilst waiting for my porridge I made this quick drawing of Lori and I.

Do you think there's a good likeness?

Meeting Finlay Fisher, aged 4 days!

Today we took a trip to Coldingham, in bonnie Scotland, to meet Auntie Alice's new baby! Here's Finlay James Fisher, and he's only 4 days old! What a bonnie lad he is! :-)

I can reach the front door handle!

Momentous day today at our house when I discovered that I am tall enough (with shoes) to open the front door!

Special award from the Headteacher!

Today I was called in to the headteacher's office today although I wasn't sure why at first, I hadn't been naughty or anything. All was explained though when I got a special sticker and a "well done" from the headteacher of the school for my ever improving phonics and writing skills. Proud day!

The school website with me on it!

World Book Day!

It's World Book Day and to celebrate, Lori and I had to think of some fab costumes to wear for school today. Sticking firmly to the book character theme we decided on Mr Strong for Lori, and I went dressed as Little Red Riding Hood! What do you lads & lasses think?

Lori's off to save the farmer's barn in exchange for a basket of eggs,
whilst I'm preparing to visit granny!

I'm not afraid of the big bad turkey!

Lori tests out Mr Strong, fresh from painting!

Pancake Day!!

It's pancake day! And to celebrate I spent some quality time with our little hamster, Pancake, before getting stuck in with the mixing! The pancakes were yummy!
