We got a budgie!

Today was very exciting; we got a budgie! Lori and I decided to call him "Stormy"!

Later we were to receive another budgie, "Icy" and they both became best friends.

Off to see Auntie Alice in Scotland!

We're off to another country! Well, Scotland to be precise; to see our Auntie Alice in her new house in Coldingham. It was a long journey but worth it. We went down to the beach and got our clothes totally soaked!

I know a cracking owl sanctuary...

Mummy took Lori and I to see some owls at Royal Quays today - I was excited to hold one and stroke its belly! It was either that or the local spice museum...

Getting my teeth checked

Hi, you find me at the dentist getting my first check up. The dentist sat me in the big chair and the chair went backwards. Then he was looking round all my teeth with a small mirror. I've only got 20 teeth so it didn't take too long and the dentist said I had lovely teeth! Don't know why people complain about going. It was great!

Painting the fences

Today we set about re-painting the fences in the garden. The wood was looking a little weathered so we set about brightening them up a bit. Messy work but we didn't mind since the weather was so nice! Whilst we were painting Daddy was trimming the hedges and mowing the lawn. I'm sure you'll agree, the end result is quite tidy.

Golfing by the coast

The holiday adventures continued as we headed back to the sea front in Tynemouth for some golf. Lori and I played an unusual course which was testing at best, not least because it was littered with dinosaurs! A well earned ice cream followed the completion of a tricky back 9.

Exploring the lake at Tynemouth

We went exploring the boating lake in Tynemouth today and went for a ride on one of the boats. I was feeding the seagulls but they didn't seem to be very friendly as they took the pieces of bread without so much as a thank you. Still, nice day!

Lovely day for the beach!

Since the sun was shining and it was a lovely warm day, Mummy took Lori and I to the beach at Tynemouth. Great weather for playing in the sand, & running in and out of the sea!
