Santa brought me this amazing walking machine which has all sorts of things I can press to make sounds. I love walking around the living room with it!
Once upon a time, in the year two thousand and ten and on the twenty fourth day of the third month, a little girl was born at 12:31pm in Newcastle. She was named Eleanor Frances Jameson and all her family smiled. This is her tale...

Thanks Grannie Jan :-)
Grannie Jan got me loads and loads of presents including this lovely cardigan and this book! It was brilliant! I love this book on the history of London Transport. Ha ha not really - it's a book with a song in it about wheels on the bus going round, and the blue button on the front, when pressed, plays the tune. I love it and I hope to learn the song over time!
Me helping big sissy play her piano
Big sissy got a great present which she called a piano - here, I'm just helping her with it. Just to be a nice little sissy.
Opening presents on my first Christmas!!
Wide awake at 7am to see if Santa's been!
Big sissy and I were up at the crack of dawn to see if Santa had been! We woke mummy and daddy up and then went to see - he left us both lots of boxes with pretty paper on. Just my sort of surprise!

Getting ready for my first Christmas
There's now a tree in the house with lights and sparkly balls on it which has captured my interest recently. Not sure what it means but everyone's excited and they're all talking about some bloke called Chris Muss. From what big sissy tells me, in a few days a big fat man in a red coat will sneak in to the house during the night and leave behind some new toys. Sounds like a good deal to me.

Standing up in my new playpen!
Daddy brought home a new thing tonight. It appeared at first to be a massive clothes dryer but once he unfolded it it turned out to be some sort of cage. Then he put all my toys in it, along with me! I loved it immediately - my own little play zone, although I'm not sure how I'll be able to play "Guess Who" with the picture frames on the fireplace from here. My new play area also gave me the opportunity to do some standing up! It's easier than I thought it would be and lots of fun! Next stop - walking...

Mirror mirror on the wall...
I love people glass! Daddy shows me smaller people glasses sometimes but today, on my daily travels around the house I came across this massive one. I don't know if it's because I'm a girl or what but I always start smiling when I see one. I love the fact that when I look at people glass there is someone else there doing the same thing as you. I don't know who the other person is, but she's very good looking. Hello!

Trying to walk: My first attempts...
Not content with crawling, I figure I can get to places faster and reach things that are higher up by walking. As you can see, I'm trying my best but I just can't do it at the moment. Daddy helps me practise by holding my arms whilst I stand next to the sofa but it's hard work! I don't know how Mummy, Daddy and big sissy do it!

Poorly girl :-(
I'm feeling a bit poorly sick today with a cold and sore eyes. I'm extra disappointed because I was looking forward to my first bonfire night. Daddy was going to take me and big sissy to see fireworks in a field somewhere but I don't think I feel like going now. My mummy's been making me feel a bit better with lots of cuddles but I don't really like being poorly.

At Grannie Jan's house :-)
Mummy and daddy were at work today so I went to stay with Grannie Jan. I love it there - she's lovely and she lets me play on the piano. Not for the first time, I felt like Elton John...

Updating my blog
Thought I'd dispel rumours that I don't actually update my own blog. To all the naysayers, here's a picture of me updating it yesterday...

Derby day delight!
Dad went to the football today - I could tell it was an important match because he kept pacing the room and looking somewhat pensive. He also made me wear my black and white top. I didn't really understand but was excited anyway.
The final score was Newcastle United 5 - sunderland 1 :-D
Needless to say, Dad came home a very happy bunny!

Things I like at the moment
Just thought I'd take a break from playing in my inflatable circle and make some lists:
My top 5 things I like to play with:
The dashboard of my sitting machine
The toys in my inflatable circle
Wet wipes
Mummy's magazines
Big sissy's hair
My top 5 things I'm not allowed to play with:
Dad's iPhone
The Sky remote
The stuff on the fridge door
Mummy's magazines
Big sissy's hair
Things I will eventually play with:
EVERYTHING in all the cupboards!

Lock up the booze, I'm crawling!!
Tonight I was playing with big sissy in her room and I finally perfected something I've been working on for a while - I started crawling on my own!
This new found mobility could come in very handy for, say, if I need to get something that is somewhere else...

Me want The Clash!
Today Mum left me playing with my toys in my inflatable circle and left the glowing rectangle on to keep me company. After a while I got a bit bored - really there's only so much "Baby TV" I can take - so I went exploring. Mum and Dad were watching a DVD last night by some music men called "The Clash" which I thought was quite good and I wanted to watch it again. Mummy came in to the front room and caught me putting the music men on...

Whatchu talkin' 'bout Willis?
Story time at Grannie Jan's - I was having a lovely time but I was wondering what the devil she was talking about.

Getting ready for Halloween!
My mum bought me this pumpkin outfit especially for this thing called "Halloween". I thought I'd try it on for size and I rather like it. Looking forward to seeing what Halloween is all about - I heard it involves watching scary programmes. This year Mum and Dad will be watching Newcastle United v Sunderland on Sky followed by Saw VII at the pictures. Not sure I fancy such a horror show myself, although I might watch Saw VII...

Learning to walk
Mummy bought me a new present today which I sit inside and it has lots of things to press which make noises and coloured lights. I call it my "sitting machine" - I particularly like it because I can try and push myself forward with my legs. Mum, Dad and big sister get everywhere by standing up and moving on their legs. I want to be able to do that as well - maybe my sitting machine will help me...

Weekend adventures
In my bouncy chair, and brimming with excitement because I'm going to be staying with Auntie Holly and Uncle Mark for the weekend. Mum & Dad are driving to Manchester to see Auntie Louise and Uncle Andy but I'm sure they'll be back tomorrow to collect me. Dad went all arty with a new iPhone photo app he found and coloured part of me in. I feel like that little girl off Schindler's List!

Big sister's birthday!
Lori was 7 today which is quite old I think. We had a party at the weekend and her friends came round - they were all really lovely and it was a great day. Today was Lori's real birthday day and she had a cake with sparkly fire! Happy birthday big sissy!

Happy half birthday to me! :-)
I got the surprise of my life today when Mum, Dad and my big sister, Lori, got me a cake for being six months old! I wonder if they'll do it when I'm a whole year old, and then every year after that? I noticed they didn't get me any presents but I didn't want to spoil the moment by commenting. The cake was very nice and it had fire on the top which I was desperate extinguish with my hands. My dad wouldn't let me though...

The beach rocks!
We went to the beach today and I had a great time. It was lovely and warm but I think I ate too much sand so I had a lie down when we got home. Lori came too as she was was off school - I'm so lucky to have such a lovely big sister. It was very bright so I was wearing sun glasses - I felt like Elton John...

Pepper machines don't scare me
Lori was all excited and she was saying something about going to see the doctor today. Was a bit confused because I was feeling fine but then I realised... We were going to the Centre for Life in Newcastle to see the Doctor Who exhibition! Had a lovely time although some of the things we saw there were a bit scary. I did like the things they had that looked like giant pepper pot machines - Dad held me up next to one expecting me to be frightened but I just thought it was really funny.

"Big bath" time
I quite like having a bath but this was ridiculous. Today we went to a place called Waves in Whitley Bay to go into an even bigger bath. It was strange because there were lots of other people I didn't know there too but it was fun because Mum, Dad and Lori were all there to look after me.

Let's all go to the zoo!
Today I went to the zoo to see some animals with mummy, daddy and big sissy. It was a long way so we had to take a train, to a place called Edinburgh which I think is actually in a different country. I really enjoyed it especially as I got to sit in my buggy all day - there seemed to be a lot of walking involved. We saw lots of funny looking animals including penguins and zebras although my favourite was the monkey we saw. It looked like big sissy. :-) Here's a picture of me at the zoo, sat on a fence, with my dad.

Learning to crawl
It occurred to me that I'm really not going to get anywhere just sat on my nappy all day so I tried my hand at getting around a bit. It's hard work but I think I can get the hang of this...

Auntie Louise and Uncle Andrew come to visit!
Had a lovely surprise today when Auntie Louise and Uncle Andrew came round to see me. They seem nice and they'd travelled from a place called Manchester. I was quite pleased to meet them but I played it cool and allowed everyone to take all the photographs they wanted.
My first bathtime!
