Trip to Newcastle United to see the footballers!

Today was exciting as we headed on the Metro into Newcastle to see the footballers do their practise session, and we were allowed in for free! There was an open day at St James' Park, which is where Newcastle United play and it was really cool! Really big stadium, and don't tell Daddy but the grass was even better than in our garden at home! We had some photos taken on a Newcastle United chair although we particularly enjoyed watching the goalkeepers practise saving shots!

Afterwards we headed back in to the town centre and caught a bit of the film they were showing at the open air "Monument Movies" event; Howl's Moving Castle being the feature we watched. It was fun but a bit scary!

Mummy bought me an Elsa costume before we headed home and so people were wondering why there was a really princess on the Metro today!
