We dropped in to Chinatown for some food first before Lori grabbed a quick Taiwanese bubble tea for the short walk across town. We arrived at the Centre for Life and there was so much great stuff to see & do. Lots of clever people who'd make the most amazing gadgets and robots, often out of the most unlikely of materials.
We made pipe-cleaner sheep and Lori tried to hook one on the "Sheep Rescue" game, there was a big Lego model of a train station and all sorts of other weird and wonderful technology-based attractions. A great day out and, if you haven't been before, a must-see if they come back again next year!

Six marching, drumming David Bowies!
Fire-breathing robot dragon and the strangest bike I've ever seen!
The silver drummers were amazing!
Mummy tried the Brain Machine - it was no use, they couldn't find one (HA!)
High-fiving my favourite alien
Robot made of wheelie bins? Yep, Binbot.
Making a right racket - all in the name of science
Standing guard so people wouldn't hassle my golden friend.
